Qualitas – Mexico

DDB-Qualitas-Agency DDB Mexico, led by Walter Aregger and Hernán Ibarra , has been selected by the Insurance company Quálitas to develop its new communication strategy.

 

Cartoon Network – Latin America

CN-Reloaded-PPGs-SPACartoon Network is about to premiere a new visual identity on screen and across all platforms this August. The channel’s creative and design teams have adapted the overall concept of the channel to Latin American audiences by using vibrant and fun colors in line with a revamped brand that will offer new characters and shows.

McDonald’s – Global

McDonalds-logo-The multinational fast food chain McDonald’s, so far held by DDB, has chosen Leo Burnett to lead a brand revamp. This agency was already working on ‘Happy Meal’ and other minor products, but after this change, it ended up taking over the general account that was being held by DDB. The account relocation points to an oxygenation of ideas and to a rebranding, the food chain announced in a statement.

Now, Leo Burnett will be responsible for all McDonald’s creative campaigns globally. Meanwhile, DDB will continue providing services for the digital and advertising sectors in the United States.

Danone – Argentina

danone-Havas Media will be Danone’s comprehensive new agency  in Argentina, effective September 1.

The Havas group’s agency will be responsible for strategic planning, buying and implementation of communication campaigns in online and offline media for all Danone’s brands in Argentina.

HSBC – Global

hsbc-HSBC has moved its worldwide retail account from Grey to JWT, although the former will continue to serve the commercial part of the Chinese bank account. The decision does not affect the desktop of London, which had already stopped working on ad campaigns for HSBC retail since August last year.

“This agency change reflects the continuity of the organization strategy of simplifying processes. It makes sense to have a single agency to take care of our global business,” said a spokesman of the bank.

Thus, three advertising agencies -Grey and JWT, which belong to WPP Group, and Saatchi & Saatchi, which is part of Publicis Groupe- will be responsible for managing an account valued at 400 million euros.

  • Saffron Brand Consultants – Infinito – Peru.

Saffron Brand Consultants, the Spanish consultant agency and Peruvian branding and creative agency Infinito, have announced a joint venture with hearquacke office in Lima, Peru.

Saffron has offices in Madrid, Londres, Nueva York, Mumbai, Viena, Estambul and Miami. Saffron works with clients like Yoigo, Vueling, Bankinter, Indra, Mondragón, Madrid Open, Dynamobel, Evo in Spain and with Lloyd’s of London, Swiss Re, Turkcell, Litro, Apollo, Raiffeisen, C&A, Baker&McKenzie, internationally.

  • McDonald´s – Global

McDonald’s is set to offer fruit and vegetables options as part of its meal deals in a drive to market healthy food choices to children amid growing pressure from governments and consumers to help tackle obesity. This will nclude a marketing push, using in-store tools such as menu boards and TV campaigns, to help customers understand the nutritional impact of their choices.

  • Tesco – Hudl – Global

Tesco is launching a low cost tablet, Hudl. Hudl’s marketing campaign kicks off today and includes TV, print and digital ads that aim to showcase what “real people” use their Hudl tablet for. The ads feature customers chatting to family, checking Facebook and watching videos online, all centred around the message #LetsHudl.
