We are excited to announce that Martin Jones, Digital Director South Cluster at Philip Morris Internationalis joining the Portada Brand Star Committee LatAm, one of the seven units of Portada’s Council System. The Committee’s next in-person meetings will be at Portada Mexico on October 17 in Casa Lamm (Mexico City).

Martin is a digital marketing professional with 18 years of experience. He is the CDO of Philip Morris International managing the south cluster,  President of the data driven marketing association in Argentina and part of the board of the global DMA. He is a founder of Asociacion Mobile Argentina and the Digital Analytics Council of Argentina.

His specialties are: Marketing On Line, Search Marketing (SEO & SEM) Performance optimization campaigns, web analytics reports and Social Media strategy, skills in web technology and development platforms, and Digital tools, social listening, analytics and marketing engagement. CRM programas and eCommerce stragey. Special Skills in innovation and digital culture for start-ups.

Henry Tajer will no longer be Global CEO of IPG’s Mediabrands after two years. He has been with Mediabrands for over 10 years.Tajer will not be replaced, but instead IPG Mediabrands chairman Philippe Krakowsky will now also handle that role.

In addition to their current roles as partners and Co-CEOs of BETC São Paulo, Ray and Barradas will lead Havas creative agencies in Brazil, including Arnold, Havas Worldwide, and Havas Worldwide Digital. Both will report to Andrew Benett, Global CEO of Havas Worldwide and Havas Creative Group. At BETC São Paulo, they will continue to report to Rémi Babinet, chairman of BETC.

He will be responsible for the strategy and business development for all platforms, B2B business and agencies management. Robles will report directly to Gervasio Marques Peña, the newspaper business manager. Prior to this position, Robles served as country sales manager at IMS (Internet Media Services).

 

After 10 years as chief marketing officer, Bruce McColl is retiring from his position at Mars. In his place, chief customer officer Andrew Clarke will assume the newly created role of chief marketing and customer officer.

Andrew-Clarke-MarsClarke, who has been in his current position since 2015, will oversee all teams managing media, consumer marketing, customer and sales. Though Clarke has been in his role for only a year, he is a 16-year veteran of the company. Prior to becoming chief customer officer, Clarke was regional president of Petcare for Latin America. He started with the company’s UK sales department in 2000.

Uribe to its board of directors effective June 1, 2016.Uribe retired in 2015 from his role as Global Productivity and Organization Transformation Officer at Procter & Gamble, where he was responsible for the company’s major productivity initiatives and broad-based structural and cultural re-design.  A native of Colombia, Uribe previously served as the Group President of Latin America at Procter & Gamble, managing businesses in more than 20 Latin American and Caribbean countries with over 18,000 employees.  With the election of Uribe, General Mills has added six new independent directors in the past two years, enhancing the board’s depth and expertise.
