María Martínez-Guzmán(right) as vice president and executive producer, News Gathering;Martínez-Guzmán will supervise and assign daily stories for all newscasts; plan and coordinate exclusive interviews, series and special news coverage; and manage correspondents and assignment editors. Martínez-Guzmán most recently served as managing editor of Network News and before that, national and international assignment editor, Univision News.

Gabriela Tristán(left) as vice president and executive producer, News Production. Tristán will oversee daily production and broadcast of all newscasts; plan and organize special coverage of events and breaking news; and manage Univision News anchors, producers, and writers. She will also be the point person for other UCI departments with specific requests and news-related production needs. Tristán joined the Univision News family as an intern in 1993 and has since held several production positions, beginning as producer of the news segment for Univision Network’s morning show “Despierta América” and subsequently for Network News.

From their new positions, Martínez-Guzmán and Tristán will work collaboratively to continue to deliver and maintain the journalistic excellence that Hispanic America has come to expect from Univision News programming. They will both report to Patsy Loris, senior vice president and senior news director for UCI.

At Krispy Kreme she replaces Dwayne Chambers, who departed late last year to become CMO at P.F. Chang’s China Bistro.Publicis Groupe’s Zenith had been handling the business since 2001.Ms. Woodward joined Miller in 2006 from McDonald’s, and became VP-marketing services for MillerCoors in 2008 after Miller and Coors merged.

As VP of Sales, Bosakewich will be responsible for all aspects of IBT Media’s sales efforts, including responsibility for client facing relationships representing IBT media’s complete multi-platform media offerings. She will create a global sales strategy, working closely with IBT Media’s data, marketing, editorial teams. She will also closely collaborate with IBT Media’s international sales organization.

Bosakewich joins IBT Media from Zoomin.TV where she served as Director of Business Development and Publisher Relations. She previously held senior sales positions at companies including Televisa Publishing, Condé Nast, Editorial Televisa and SBS.

Set on earning his PhD in consumer behavior, he’s closing the doors to the San Antonio based agency Bromley Communications. The agency’s current clients will likely migrate to other Publicis Groupe companies, Bromley’s parent company. All efforts will be made to offer agency personnel employment opportunities with Publicis Groupe. A farewell party and celebration of the legacy will take place at Bromley’s downtown San Antonio office later this month.

Fusion is an ABC-Univision joint venture.Prior to this appointment, Summa was vice president of News Partnerships for Univision News.Before joining Univision in 2012, Summa was head of the CBS News Investigative Unit, where under his leadership, his team of investigative reporters and producers received the Emmy® Award for Outstanding Investigative Journalism for three consecutive years. Previously, Summa spent 15 years as a producer for ABC News and Peter Jennings Productions. Summa holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Eduardo Pelleissone is appointed EVP of Global Operations. In this role, Mr. Pelleissone will have direct accountability for the Company’s supply chain, quality, procurement and operations functions in North America and globally. Mr. Pelleissone joined Heinz in July 2013 as Head of Operations.

Francisco Sa is appointed Zone President of Latin America. Mr. Sa joined Heinz in June 2014 as Zone President of Heinz Latin America. Sa served as Zone President for AB InBev’s Latin America South business from 2012 to 2014.

In his role, Mr. Zoghbi will lead the Company’s more than $19 billion U.S. business comprised of five commercial business units. Zoghbi has been COO at Kraft since February 2015. Zoghbi joined Kraft in 2007 as Vice President and Area Director of Australia and New Zealand.

The move follows Steve Rossi’s advancement to CEO of Denver-based Digital First. Ryan had been president and publisher of BANG since February 2014. She joined the company as chief financial officer of the California Newspapers Partnership in 2007.

According to Bosakewich, Zoomin.TV recognized over 12 years ago that the consumption of video content would be “King”. Bosakewich cites industry insights that state that by 2017 Video content will amount to 69% of all internet consumer traffic.

It creates over 100,000 videos a year, free of rights with a vast VJ network of 2000 in 17 languages, English and Spanish among the main ones. According to Bosakewich, “being the 6th MCN on YouTube globally with over 55,000 video channels garnering over 1.2 Billion Video downloads a month provides new and existing partners a wide selection of offerings and solutions.”

Televisa Publishing and DigitalMadelin Bosakewich has left Televisa Publishing and Digital in Miami where she worked as U.S. Regional Sales Manager overseeing Televisa Publishing and Digital’s Sales Team. Sergio Carrera, Director General USA & Puerto Rico at Televisa Publishing and Digital tells Portada that he will be taking over Bosakewich’s duties until a new executive is hired to replace her.

Televisa Publishing and Digital promotes and sells advertising into the print and digital properties of Vanidades, TV y Novelas and Cosmopolitan en español for the U.S. Hispanic market, Puerto Rico and panregionally (Latin America).
