What: Latina Media Ventures announced that it will host a Hispanic-focused beauty, hair and wellness expo this July at the Meadowlands in NJ to celebrate the specific beauty needs of Hispanic and African American women, who make up the largest consumer market for beauty products. Latina expects to get at least 10,000 attendees throughout the weekend. Confirmed sponsors to date are SheaMoisture, Zee Pk Inc. and Alter Ego.
Why it matters: Magazines have been hit hard with a decrease in advertising particularly due to a decrease in print advertising of Procter & Gamble. Extending their brands to events is an important element of the revenue diversification strategy.

descargaLatina Media Ventures announced that tickets for the first-ever Latina Media Ventures Beauty, Hair & Wellness Expo, which will take place July 18-19, 2015, at the Meadowlands Expo Center (355 Plaza Drive, Secaucus, New Jersey 07094), have been on sale since April 13, 2015, at Latina.com/expo.
