Caviglia began his career as Media Assistant at Savaglio and afterwards worked at the Department of Planning and shopping in Casares Grey. She was Commercial Coordinator at the advertising and news Magazine Sarmiento.

Leonardo joined Alterna’TV on October 20 to boost the penetration of channels distributed in Latin America. He had been Director of Distribution for BBC Worldwide channels for Latin America and the US Hispanic markets since 2010. He was previously Marketing and Affiliates Sales Manager at TVE Radio Televisión Española from 2007 to 2010, International Label Manager for Univisión Music at Universal Music Latin America from 2004 to 2007 and International Label Manager Anglo Repertoire at EMI Music Latin America from 2001 to 2004.

Tripodi joined Coca-Cola in 2007 from Allstate Insurance Company, where he was Chief Marketing Officer. He also served in Chief Marketing Officer roles for The Bank of New York, Seagram Spirits & Wine, and MasterCard International.

Based in Milwaukee, Gomez previously was senior managing partner of Denver-based Multicultural Solutions. Prior to that Gomez served as director of diversity and corporate relations at Brinker International; as well as senior manager, corporate affairs and diversity at Walmart Stores, Inc.; and director of the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE) in Chicago. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

 

Luis Cachua, director multicultural markets, will develop and lead the company’s Hispanic-integrated marketing initiatives out of Los Angeles. In her new role, she’ll report into GroupM Global President Dominic Proctor and work in both London and New York.

Penney, effective Nov. 1.He will later add the role of chief executive officer in August 2015, when current interim CEO Mike Ullman becomes executive chairman of the board. Ellison was most recently executive VP of stores for Home Depot, a position he held since 2008. In addition to his 12 years at Home Depot, Ellison spent 15 years in assorted executive roles at Target.

In US headquarters, Yermoli will be responsible for Volkswagen account creativity regionally as well as Univision account, among other projects; Rodrigo Diaz will be responsible for all Buenos Aires Office customers.

Jon Hamm-Geometry Global has appointed Jon Hamm as global chief creative officer in a newly created role for the firm. Hamm joins from Momentum Worldwide where he served as global chief creative and innovation officer after IPG/Momentum bought his agency Greenroom Digital in 2008.He will report to CEO Steve Harding.

Moda y Mulholland-J. Walter Thompson Brazil has announced the appointment of Aline Moda and Isabella Mulholland as new executive directors. Prior to the appointment, they were both serving as media director and planning director, respectively.

Mulholland and Moda will become part of the agency’s executive committee to manage the accounts focusing on business results. Throughout their professional careers, the executives have worked in agencies such as Y&R, Africa, Fischer and Loducca for Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, Femsa, TAM, Peugeot and other clients.

David Jones, the British-born chief executive of Havas and the chief executive of Havas Worldwide, is stepping down from both roles. Jones is being replaced by Yannick Bolloré, the son of Havas’ main shareholder, Vincent Bolloré, in the former role. Jones’ responsibilities for running the Havas Worldwide network will be assumed by Andrew Bennett, the co-president of Havas Worldwide. Bennett will report to Bolloré. Jones is leaving to become a co-founder and chief executive of a new tech start-up.

Jones has worked at Havas since 1998, when he was appointed the chief executive of Euro RSCG Australia. He also held senior leadership roles at Euro RSCG in New York before taking charge of the network.

He was made chief executive of Havas Worldwide in 2009 and, in 2011, expanded his role to encompass the entire Havas network, which includes Havas Media.

Critical Mass, a global digital agency, is bolstering its global network with the addition of two new executive leaders and merging its London-based operations with digital creative pioneer Agency Republic.

NBCUniversal announced today that Cesar Conde will join the company as an Executive Vice President reporting to Steve Burke, Chief Executive Officer, NBCUniversal. In this newly created role, Conde will focus on business development, strategic priorities and special business projects across the NBCUniversal portfolio of assets. Claudia Clauhs and Edilson Lima have been named programming director and affiliate sales manager of Brazil for Scripps Networks International, respectively.  Scripps Networks International is the global development arm of Scripps Networks Interactive, Inc. and the media lifestyle across the food, home and travel categories.

As part of the team in Brazil, they will be responsible for programming strategy and channel distribution for Scripps’ channels in the region.  Both Clauhs and Lima will report to Marcio Fonseca, managing director of Latin America.

Clauhs comes to Scripps Networks International from Fox Latin American Channels where she was most recently director of factual and lifestyle programming. Before joining Fox Latin America, Claudia managed program planning for National Geographic Channel. Lima is an experienced affiliate sales and marketing professional having worked at Discovery Communications, Fox Latin American Channels and SKY Brasil.

Infocore, a global marketing data acquisition company, announced Jade Boneff-Walsh as the company’s new Vice President of Global Markets.
