Chipotle Mexican Grill has announced that it has hired Chris Brandt as chief marketing officer, effective April 2. Brandt will report to chief executive officer Brian Niccol.







Krystyna Hall steps into the role of Telemundo VP of Corporate Communications. Based in New York, Hall will partner with the NBCUniversal Corporate Communications team and enhance the company’s presence in the New York media market.





Eduardo Kachscovsky, who retired as Univision Television Group VP of Production in January after 37 years with the company, has been named Director of Studio and Production Operations at U.S. government international broadcast agency Voice of America. He’ll head a staff of 200 production personnel involved in the production of radio, television, and web content in 46 languages.





ViralGains has announced the appointment of Mark Connon to its board of directors. He’ll be a key voice in the firm’s next step in its mission to better predict and drive business outcomes through video advertising using deep consumer insights.





Abigail Comber, global head of Brands and marketing for British Airways is leaving the airline after a career that spans 26 years. A spokeswoman confirmed the departure of Comber and named her replacement as newly-appointed head of brands and marketing, Hamish McVey.




Dominique Delport, the well-regarded president of Vivendi Content and global managing director of advertising powerhouse Havas, is in advanced negotiations to join Vice as its head of international operations.






Duke has hired former MullenLowe global planning director Sandya Piyasena as strategy partner. Piyasena, who has already started in her new role, said she was going to “unashamedly champion our new equal gender, equal pay partnership”.





Ben Sharpe, executive producer at Blink Productions, has joined Adam & Eve/DDB as head of film and joint head of integrated production. He replaces Matt Craigie Atherton who left in August last year to join Mother.

descarga (2)Netherlands-based Heineken is looking for a second agency to handle global media planning and buying, according to Adweek.The incumbent has been Starcom Mediavest Group since 2012, when it consolidated work handled by 14 worldwide agency partners into one relationship with the Publicis Groupe media network. AAR Partners, London, is handling the search process which is being led by Gregory Kukolj, Heineken’s global head of media and digital. The portfolio of brands includes Amstel, Tecate and Dos Equis.

  • British Airways

baBritish Airways is launching the only direct flight between London and Santiago de Chile from January 3, 2017. Santiago will become the airline’s lengthiest long-haul route, taking 14 hours 40 minutes, nearly an hour more than the current longest flight of 13 hours 50 minutes service to Buenos Aires. The four-a-week flight will be served by the airline’s newest aircraft, the four-cabin Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, complete with a new First cabin.Santiago will be the latest destination in Latin America to join British Airways’ route network. The airline recently launched new services to San Jose in Costa Rica and Lima in Peru. In addition, it also operates flight to Rio and Sao Paulo in Brazil and Buenos Aires in Argentina.

adAdidas Football (soccer)  has launched the first video of the Hacé Que Te Sigan”(“Make Them Follow You”) series which will present its global superstars including Lionel Messi, Paul Pogba, Luis Suarez and Mesut Özil and celebrates their determination to be the number one, inside and outside the soccer field. The first video was released to coincide with the unveiling of the new collection of adidas Mercury Pack boots. The boots will make their debut in the UEFA EURO 2016TM and the la Copa América Centenario this summer as players like Messi, Pogba, Suarez and Özil aim to finish first and win soccer trophies. The soccer boots that make up the Mercury Pack will arrive in Argentina on June 7.

bMexican real estate and investment firm Sun-Star Group, led by real estate developer Omar O’Rourke Martinez and his partner Thomas Wahl, a seasoned hotel executive, have executed an agreement with Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, for the development and operation of a Radisson Blu Hotel at Lake Chapala, with an option for additional territories.Lake Chapala is a popular destination located within 50 kilometers of Guadalajara, Mexico’s second largest city, and located within 25 minutes of Guadalajara’s international airport as well as El Salto, an important industrial corridor and home to the Mexican and Latin American headquarters for many multi-national corporations.Radisson Blu hotels are found in prime locations around the globe, with more than 395 properties now open or in development in more than 110 countries.Construction of The Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Ajijic is slated to begin during the fourth quarter of 2016. The project is estimated to create 200 construction and 80 full time jobs.

In a country currently suffering the world’s deepest recession, with inflation fast approaching 700 percent, the cola’s demise is the latest hardship facing the South American nation, as the country teeters on the edge of economic and political collapse.Last month, Empresas Polar, the largest food and beverage company in the country, stopped beer production because of the scarcity of another imported product, barley. But far from being limited to soda and beer, shortages are being seen in basic.

One of the main pillars of this campaign is the recently launched One Touch service that allows users to purchase at millions of locations locally and overseas without having to enter a user or password at each site and purchase. In addition, the campaign emphasizes that PayPal opens the door to purchases in 203 markets around the world with the same digital payment method, together with the Buyers and Sellers Protection Programs to support.

kYrPoJnL_400x400Procter & Gamble Co. is planning to cut at least US$500 million from agency fees under a new drive to reduce the number of agencies it works with. P&G total spending on agency fees is estimated at around US$1 billion. The move comes as P&G’s top-line results disappointed Wall Street, with organic revenue growth rising 1% last quarter, below the 2% projected by many analysts, and as P&G plans to step up its headcount reductions. By the end of the current fiscal year in June, P&G would hit the high end of its current plan to have reduced non-manufacturing headcount by 22% over two years. Now, it’s stepping up planned job cuts to a 25% to 30% reduction by the end of next fiscal year, exclusive of the impact of divestitures.The firm has already announced divestitures include Iams, Duracell, DDF, the Ace bleach business overseas and a number of small fragrance brands, such as the Avril Lavigne license.

The spot shows different sittuations in which today’s world does not help men on the slightest to grow.
