Bermudez will continue to head up the agency’s largest accounts, Verizon and Kroger, among others, and will be tasked to help lead the agency’s future growth efforts as well. She will continue to report to President Luis Montero. Bermudez joined the agency in 2015. Prior to joining, she was a Group Account Director at Alma DDB.

Based in Miami, she’ll be responsible for marketing strategies to help grow the network’s brand, as well as expanding the reach of the company within the U.S. Hispanic market.She’ll report to Aileen Angulo-Merciel, SVP of Marketing and Creative.Prior to joining Telemundo, Chaparro Vegas was VP of Marketing and Digital at NBC Universal International Networks Latin America for six years.

Noto was most recently chief financial officer, a post he has held since joining Twitter in 2014. Noto, among his other new duties, will be in charge of global advertising sales. Noto spent 13 years with Goldman Sachs.

Prior to SBS, Mr. Molina worked at KPMG LLP as an assurance professional specializing in the broadcasting and media industry Mr. Molina is a licensed CPA and has a Masters in Accounting from the University of Florida.

Blanchard joins Condé Nast from NBCUniversal where she served as head of communications for the company’s Entertainment & Digital Networks and Integrated Media division.

 

 

 

 

Anthony Romano has been promoted to the newly created role of senior VP, client services for the U.S. at R/GA. He joined the agency a year ago as senior VP, group managing director, overseeing clients that included Samsung, Coca-Cola and MasterCard. Prior to that he was global head of agency development at AOL and before that was an executive VP at Publicis Groupe.

Rodrigo will lead the agency operations in Mexico and supervise the Planning, Creativity, Social, Production, Development and Media groups work .Pérez Ochoa was founder and director of Foo Studio. He worked with clients such as Volkswagen, SAB Miller and Brown Forman, among others. He began his career at Unilever, where he spent 10 years and was brand manager for Axe, Rexona and Dove.

 

rossLiz Ross has joined full-service agency Periscope as president and CEO.She succeeds Greg Kurowski. The move follows Ms. Ross’ departure in May from Mediabrands, Interpublic Group of Companies’ media agency network, where she most recently served as CMO.Her goal is to grow the agency, which does about US$65 million in revenue, into a US$100 million shop within five years. The international presence is the result of an investment over the last couple of years in offshore production operations. She’ll plans to expand the shop’s domestic footprint as well, but the first order of business will be to find a chief creative officer and ramp up on new business.

357c3b4Sergio Alcocer, president and chief creative officer of LatinWorks, is leaving the Austin-based U.S. Hispanic agency at the end of this week after more than 16 years. Mr. Alcocer, one of the best-known Hispanic creatives, has been a major force behind making LatinWorks one of the biggest agencies in the Hispanic market. Mr. Alcocer joined LatinWorks in 1999, shortly after co-founders Manny Flores and Alejandro Ruelas, the agency’s CEO and CMO, started LatinWorks in a basement in St. Louis, Missouri, the city where both had worked on the client side at Anheuser-Busch. The agency is minority owned by Omnicom Group.
