  • Peroni Nastro Azurro/ Groslch – Global

SABMiller, the international brewing giant, has appointed LBi to handle the global digital accounts for its Peroni Nastro Azzurro and Grolsch brands. The brewer did not previously have a retained global digital agency of record for either Peroni or Grolsch. LBi, which won the account after a competitive pitch, will handle digital activity for Peroni in the UK and globally.

  • Microsoft – Global

Microsoft's global account, which was wholly with Interpublic Groupe's Universal McCann, has been split for the first time. Starcom Mediavest Group has won Microsoft's 1billion North America media buying account, as well as the brand's global strategy and planning work.

Also, Microsoft is on the hunt for a new global marketing chief after Mich Mathews, who oversees a budget of more than $1bn, announced she will retire after the summer. One likely candidate to succeed Mathews is Yusuf Mehdi, senior vice president of Microsoft's online audience business, according to US blog All Things Digital.

  • Unilever – Global

Unilever has appointed marketing technology company Amaze to help them build a consistent global digital presence, after a six-way pitch.

  • Vertu – Global

Vertu, the luxury mobile handset brand owned by Nokia, has appointed M&C Saatchi to handle a global advertising project. M&C Saatchi beat Fallon and JWT in the final pitch, ending a review process that began in January. The agency will be responsible for handling a global integrated campaign to support the launch of a new handset.

  • BSkyB – Global

BSkyB has launched a multimedia ad campaign to promote its on-demand service Sky Anytime+, with a new take on Sky's broadband's 'Happily Ever After' fairytale theme. Created by Engine's WCRS&Co, with media by MediaCom, the campaign runs across TV, cinema, outdoor, press and online from today (4 April).

  • All Hotels – Global

All Hotels has chosen Global Mind to manage its on line advertising campaigns, including search, performance and branding.

  • Sony Ericsson – Brazil

Router Beta has won the Sony Ericsson account in Brazil. The agency will be in charge of the marketing and digital communications for a year contract.

  • Buscapé – Brazil

Buscapé has launched its new TV spot “Do you want to lose money?” in Brazil, created by JotaCom based in Sao Paulo. The spot will be shown on air television and paid tv. The e-commerce company is looking for re-positioning its brand.

  • Dermage – Brazil

Dermage has appointed Euro RSCG Brazil to handle its national account after a pitch. The account will be managed by Euro RSCG Rio do Janeiro.

  • Saatchi & Saatchi – Colombia

Saatchi & Saatchi starts operations in Colombia with new office in the country. The Colombian branch will be run by Esteban Guerrero Carvajal, ex global manager at Publicar S.A. Juan Pablo Navas Florez will be the creative director.

  • Bayer – Argentina

Bayer Argentina has picked BBDO to handle all its products branding. Bayer is one of the most important announcers in the country, last year the company spent 305.6 million dollars in advertising, according to Ibope Monitor.
