Razorfish will open a Mexico City office in the fourth quarter of 2010 and a Buenos Aires, Argentina, office by the second quarter of 2011, a Razorfish source present at last weeks IAB Mexico 2010 Conecta’s Conference tells Portada. The digital agency has been planning to open an office in both Mexico and Argentina for some time, but only now seems to have set definitive dates for the openings. The office openings will respond to client demand in those countries.

Last May, Razorfish opened an office in Brazil (click here to read a recent interview with Razorfish’s General Manager in Brazil Fernando Tassinari).

Razorfish, a part of Publicis group since 2009, is also planning to grow organically. The digital agency had at one point considered to acquire Latin American digital agencies to strengthen its expansion in Latin America. Razorfish explored opportunities and had conversations with many Latin American agencies, including panregional digital agency Activ@amente.
