TinBu, the provider of revenue generating online content, announce they have hired Fernando Ascencio to serve as Vice President of Latin American Operations. Ascencio will be in charge of marketing TinBu's patent-pending technology and content channels to Spanish language online and wireless publishers in the U.S., as well as throughout Latin America. He is an experienced internet executive in the Latin American sector and has worked with the Spanish language broadcasting company Univision for 8-years prior to participating in the initial launch of Quepasa.com in 1999. During his tenure with Quepasa.com he served in a variety of senior executive roles, including as CEO of the Company.
As CEO of Quepasa Ascencio oversaw over 50 employees, with offices in Mexico and the U.S. Ascencio also worked previously for the ABC Television Group based out of New York City.
As Vice President of Latin American Operations Ascencio will manage the overall performance of the company's growth across Latin America and the U.S. within the Spanish speaking segment. TinBu produces interactive content channels using a patent pending technology that are designed to increase site traffic, user satisfaction, and revenue generation for online publishers who utilize TinBu's content channels. TinBu's interactive content channels are available to online publishers with integrated revenue generation as an option, including Yahoo! search and contextual ads for publishers serving Latin American online audiences.
