Benjamin Gomez becomes Acting CEO for Starcom MediaVest Mexico, effectively immediately, as announced by Monica Gadsby, CEO Starcom MediaVest (SMG) Americas. In this role, Benjamin will work closely with Monica Gadsby and a dynamic team to continue strengthening SMG’s market leadership in Mexico.
“Benjamin’s diverse experience and strength in innovation will help us remain focused on our priority of driving increased growth through diversification,” said Monica Gadsby. “He has the market and client knowledge as well as strong relationships with local media from previously running MediaVest Mexico for five years,” added.
In the last year Benjamin had relocated to Colombia and focused on strengthening SMG’s Andean operations. He replaces Fernando Silva in Mexico who decided to return to his family in Argentina. “We thank Fernando for all his contributions and wish him the best,” said Monica Gadsby. Fernando Silva will be taking a regional role with another network.

The team in Mexico includes Jordi Oliva as Managing Director Mediavest, Edgardo Frias as Managing Director Starcom, Rui Lemos as Director of Operations and Client Services and Martin Terzano as Digital Director.
