  • VCCP – Global

VCCP has picked up the global advertising account for the high-performance sports car manufacturer McLaren Automotive. VCCP will also be responsible for developing a global brand position for McLaren Automotive.

  • News Internacional – Global

News International putted in January its entire agency roster in review. The review is part of a general change of its marketing communications. The 44 million dollars advertising account is split between Engine’s WCRS and CHI & Partners, with the former responsible for The Sun and the latter The Times and The Sunday Times. Mindshare handles NI’s media account. The results are expected to be announced after Easter.

  • Yokohama – Mexico

Yokohama has launched a new Spanish-language website containing information about its tires for at car owners, commercial truckers and fleet managers in Mexico. The site will include an interactive dealer locator, interactive product ‘hot spots’ and downloadable bulletins in Spanish.

  • General Motors – Global

General Motors, Chevrolet brand, has selected Commonwealth  as its new global advertising agency. The newly formed company will help save GM about $2 billion over the next five years, according to GM.
Commonwealth, based in Detroit, is a joint venture that combines San Francisco-based Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, an Omnicom Group company, and New York-based McCann Erickson Worldwide, an Interpublic Group company. Chevrolet previously used 70 global agencies for its global advertising efforts.

  • Peugeot – Brazil

Peugeot Brazil announced a new review for its creative account. Every four years, Peugeot calls for a review in the country. Actually, Loducca is managing the account. Seven more agencies were invited to pitch for the account.

  • Petropolis – Brazil

Brazilian beer Petropolis has selected Y&R Brazil to manage its communication in the country. Previously, the account was handled by Multisolution Publicidade.

  • Naked – Brazil

Fernanda Romano and Pedro Assumpção have opened in association with Player Comunicação a new agency called Naked.  The agency will manage Oi digital account and Player Comunicacao´s clients like Hering, Dzarm, Natura, calzados Democrata, Kopenhagen, Endeavor, Adidas, Bohemia and SMZTO.

  • VML – Brazil

VML, one of the digital agencies of WPP, has announced the opening of a new office in Sao Paulo. The new branch will manage Mobly, Tricae, Kanui and WestWing accounts.
