  • News Internacional – Global

As we reported, News International put in January its entire agency roster in review. Last Thursday News International announced that WPP's Grey, M/SIX, OgilvyOne and Ogilvy Change are going to handle the $44 million media, advertising, direct and strategic responsibilities behind its news operations for multimedia brands The Times, The Sunday Times and The Sun.
WCRS, CHI & Partners and Mindshare were in charge of the brands until now.

  • GroupM Next – Global

WPP announced a new tech unit called GroupM Next. The new office will support Maxus, MEC, Mindshare and MediaCom tech operations. Chris Copeland has been named CEO and Cary Tilds is the new Chief Innovation Officer.

  • Revlon / MediaCom – Argentina

Revlon has appointed MediaCom to manage its brands Naté Naturals, Cutex and Colorsilk in Argentina. The agency will be in charge of the media buying and planning in Argentina. Sebastián Civit, CEO of MediaCom Argentina, said Revlon is looking for “emotion and innovation”.

  • Sony – Brazil

Sony has picked Brazilian agency David after a pitch to handle its communication in Brazil. The agency is lead by Gastón Bigio, Anselmo Ramos and Fernando Musa. Among its clients, David also works for Coca-Cola, Burger King US, Staples and Powerade.

  •  Águila Beer – Colombia

Lowe SSP3 has been chosen by Bavaria SAB Miller to manage its brand Águila and Águila light. Fernando Samper, president of the agency in Colombia, will be in charge of the general operation. The agency is also working for SAB Miller for its brands Costeña and Pony Malta.
SAB Miller is also reviewing its brands Cola & Pola and Maltizz in the country. It is expected by May to be announced the results of the review.

  • Loreal – Chile

Raya Chile has been awarded with Loreal´s brands Kiehl´s, Vichy, Loreal Professionel and Red Ken. The agency will be in charge of the media buying and planning in the country. The accounts will be managed in Providencia´s offices.
