  • Hilton 

Hilton has announced that the company will be making its debut in Bermuda.Hilton is doing so with the signing of Bermudiana Beach Resort, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. In addition to being its debut in Bermuda, the move will give the brand its second overall property in the Caribbean region. The property will be a 111-room resort slated to open for guests in 2020, and it will be owned by Bermudiana Development Company Limited. It will also be situated on a cliff that overlooks the pristine pink-sand beaches and turquoise waters in the area.“As we continue the strategic expansion of our industry leading brands across the Caribbean and Latin America, Bermudiana Beach Resort is a wonderful opportunity to introduce Tapestry Collection by Hilton to one of the Caribbean’s most sought-after destinations,” said Pablo Maturana, managing director, development, Caribbean and South America, Hilton.What’s also significant about this opening is that it marks the ongoing expansion of Hilton’s footprint in the Caribbean market.While this is only the second Tapestry Collection by Hilton property in the region, Hilton currently has a portfolio of nearly 150 hotels and resorts in the Caribbean and Latin America, including more than 20 hotels across the Caribbean itself.As Hilton continues to celebrate its 100th year in 2019, the company also continues to pursue additional growth opportunities in the region and currently has a robust pipeline of nearly 90 hotels throughout the Caribbean and Latin America, including one Tapestry Collection property in Jamaica and two in Peru.

 

  • Park Inn by Radisson 

Park Inn by Radisson announced the opening of Park Inn by Radisson Los Olivos de Vallenar. The newly-built hotel features modern amenities and guest rooms, providing the perfect oasis for those traveling for leisure or business. Centrally located in Chile’s Atacama Region, the hotel offers guests easy access to the city’s center, nearby beaches of Huasco, and hiking trails at Llanos de Challe National Park. Guests can also take advantage of the hotel’s proximity to public transportation and Vallenar Airport.The hotel features 60 guest rooms and suites, and offers access to an onsite fitness center, business center, outdoor pool, and free Wi-Fi, as well as onsite free parking. Additionally, the hotel has multi-functional and flexible meeting spaces for guests looking to host social gatherings or corporate meetings. There are two meeting spaces that can accommodate up to 40 people in each room.

Azul Airlines is the first Brazilian carrier to be certified by the Transportation Security Administration as a TSA Pre-Check expedited screening program member.TSA Pre-Check is an expedited screening program that enables low-risk travelers to enjoy a smart and efficient screening experience at more than 200 U.S. airports. For TSA Pre-Check travelers, there is no need to remove shoes, laptops, 3-1-1 liquids, belts or light jackets. According to the TSA, 94 percent of passengers in TSA Pre-Check lanes waited less than five minutes.Azul S.A., the largest airline in Brazil by number of flight departures and cities served, offers 870 daily flights to 114 destinations. With an operating fleet of 130 aircraft and more than 11,000 crewmembers, the Company has a network of 220 non-stop routes as of June 30, 2019.
