Lead2Action – Mexico
Publicis Groupe has strengthened its digital expertise in the African and LatAm regions with two key acquisitions and an investment.
In LatAm, the company has acquired Lead2Action – a digital agency in Mexico that will be integrated into Publicis Mexico – whose clients include Best Buy, Hasbro, P&G and Banamex,
Lead2Action has over 120 employees .By joining Publicis the agency strengthens its digital offering and global expansion.
Alejandro Cardoso, chief executive for Publicis Worldwide LatAm said: “We are very pleased to announce the acquisition of one of the leading digital agencies in the Mexican market.”
Oftalvist – Spain
Proximity Madrid has been chosen by Oftalvist to manage integrated brand communication, from the digital marketing positioning development as well as social media strategy development. The agency´s team in charge of the account will be integrated by Cristina Esteras – client services director-, Virginia Uriarte-account supervisor- and Susana Perez-executive creative director-.
To accomplish this, the Madrid-based agency will develop the brand´s digital strategy by focusing on the creation of a new site and locating the brand in the digital ecosystem with suitable content for blogs and social networking. In addition, Proximity will be responsible for the offline section with the new corporate identity’s development in print, radio, corporate material, POS and others.
Telefónica – Argentina
Telefónica Group has chosen Zenith agency in Argentina to manage its’ media investment. Zenith, with a wide experience both globally and locally, will be the new media partner from January 1, 2015 and will coordinate the company´s advertising communication campaign strategy with Telefonica’s media management in charge of Gonzalo Careaga.
The competition between four agencies concluded with the awarding to Publicis Group, aimed to find the best partner to provide a comprehensive solution to the entire Group. Agency MindShare, from WPP, will continue to serve the account until December 31st.
Contrapunto BBDO is adding Saba and Tena to its’ client portfolio. The account will be handled by Leticia García – customer service director-, Marco Dávila- strategic planning frame-, Luis Ribo-vice president and creative general director and Paola Figueroa- creative director -.
Big Cola – Spain – Latin America
International beverage producer Aje has chosen agency Grey Spain to manage Big Cola global account. The agency will develop the Big Cola’s communication strategy and will be responsible for digital content and other activities that will be implemented and adapted in different markets throughout Latin America, Asia and Africa.
The account will be handled by Grey Madrid, which will coordinate all actions and adaptations to local agencies in each of the countries where the brand operates. The creative team assigned to the account will be led by Antonio Montero and EnricNel.lo. Meanwhile, Ramon Ollé will be in charge of strategy and Damien Lucas will be the account’s international director.
