Hispanic and Latin American daters will soon have a new website to go to: Amor.com, a subsidiary of Torontobased Date.com, will be launched within the next few weeks (https://www.amor.com). “Amor will provide the ability to search through the profiles of millions of other singles, access to singles chat rooms, and a dating technology that will be superior to all other Latin dating sites,” the publishers of the new website claim.
The Hispanic Internet dating market is led by Amigos.com, owned by Palo Alto, CA based FriendFinder Network, a global online relationship network that allows over 100 million registered members to confidentially and anonymously meet people with similar interests and mindsets in a safe, fun environment. Founded in 1996 FriendFinder Network operates with a staff of over 200. Match.com, one of the major players in the Anglo-Saxon market, also has a presence in the Hispanic and Latin American markets.
