In October, Condé Nast launched a version of Glamour for the Spanish market. The monthly targets women between 18 and 34 years old and covers fashion, beauty and current events. It will have an initial circulation of 85,000 and a price of 1.5 euros. Conde Nast invested 7 million euros in advertising for the launch.

The format for the launch is “pocket book,” the same format Cosmopolitan and Ragazza currently use in Spain. However, Glamour will distribute the magazine in this format exclusively. The pocket book format is gaining popularity for women's magazines in Europe. Some critics note that the photo quality is not as good and that advertisers are hesitant to buy space in the smaller-sized women magazines.
