The Associated Press has named a Latin America / Caribbean editor. Marjorie Miller has worked previously as a foreign policy editor and op-ed correspondent for the Los Angeles Times. She is also no stranger to the AP, having worked for the news agency as a foreign correspondent in the early ’80s.
In her new role, Miller will relocate to Mexico City in order to oversee coverage ranging from the U.S. / Mexico border to the tip of South America, as well as across the Caribbean. In addition, she will be in charge of the AP’s global Spanish news service.
