New York-based Manhattan Media has announced that its purchase of Latin America Media Management LLC, and all of its holdings. LAMM publishes Latin Trade magazine and the BRAVO Business Awards. In the wake of the deal, Manhattan Media has also heralded the formation of Miami Media.

Latin Trade magazine is recognized as one of the leading publications covering regional business trends, as well as corporate and government leaders in Latin America and the Caribbean. The magazine has a monthly circulation of 87,000 copies, and is distributed throughout Latin America and parts of the United States. It is published in published in Spanish, Portuguese and English.

For their part, the LT BRAVO Business Awards are among the frontrunners of Latin business awards ceremonies. While there will certainly be some changes following the changing of hands, Manhattan Media has announced that Latin Trade’s re-launch will preserve some its most important features, including: Top 500 Companies, Economic Forecast, Top Financial Leaders and Best of Latin America.

Manhattan Media is a community newspaper and lifestyle magazine publisher based in New York, with holdings in newspapers, magazines, websites and live events. The firm is backed by private equity investor Isis Venture Partners.
