Quepasa Corporation announced an agreement with Terra. The revenue and content sharing agreement will expand programming and reach to the Hispanic consumer through social media in Latin America and in the US.
The deal includes the incorporation of Terra TV into Quepasa's video platform to offer consumers News, Sports and Entertainment content. It will also allow Terra to monetize Quepasa's social media platforms as well as Quepasa's proprietary social media Quepasa Contests technology.
The company said this agreement “will leverage both the Terra and Quepasa platforms, this will maximize advertisers' reach with true all digital integrated campaign opportunities.”
The partnership will kick off in August with a consumer promotion for the XVI Pan American Games that will be held in Guadalajara starting on October 14, for which Terra has the exclusive online distribution rights. The contest for the most important sports event of the Americas will consist of weekly sweepstakes to include jerseys and the opportunity to win a trip to Guadalajara to watch the games live. Additionally hundreds of hours of original sports coverage will be available on Terra TV at Quepasa.com.
Another deal was announced days before with the user analytics company Kontagent. Under the new partnership, Kontagent will be given exclusive rights to power Quepasa's casual game portal Quepasa Games with its kSuite user analytics platform that drives behavioral insights and usage patterns enabling developers to make data-driven decisions on game development and tuning.
