Millennial Media, an independent mobile advertising and data platform, announced a new strategic partnership with Adsmovil, a mobile ad network in Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic markets.
Millennial Media extends its platform into South America, Central America and Mexico with this deal.
Adsmovil, a Cisneros Group company, will commercialize Millennial Media’s mobile advertising solutions in Latin America.
“Mobile is a global medium, and expanding into Latin America was a natural next step for our platform,” said Paul Palmieri, President and CEO, Millennial Media.
Mobile in Latin America
With more than 400 million mobile users in Latin America, and smartphone penetration expected to reach almost 40 percent by 2016, according to eMarketer, Adsmovil and Millenial Media will work with more than 45,000 sites and apps.
The companies have provided services for clients like Coca-Cola, Disney, Ford, Toyota, Visa, McDonalds, Sprint, P&G, etc.
