Pepsico’s Parra will speak on the theme “Pay TV: A behind the Scenes Look at a Panregional Media Buy”. Pay TV, mostly cable, is the media type with the highest ad expenditure in panregional media buys, according to Portada’s “2011 Panregional Advertising and Media Report”
Yet the category could grow much more if better metrics are developed.
Among the key questions Parra is going to touch are: Why can’t Pay-TV work with the metrics of open broadcast TV to justify buys? What metrics does the research industry need to develop in order for Pay-TV buys to grow panregionally?
