What: Africa has been appointed agency of record for Heinz Brazil, after a global pitch.
Why it matters: The agency will handle communications for the company in that country, beginning on July 1st.
After the pitch, Heinz announced that it would begin to work globally with agencies from the Interpublic (IPG) – in North America – and Omnicom Groups in the rest of the world, and in Brazil the collaboration will be in charge of Africa.
Famous for its many products such as Heinz Ketchup and mustard, the company has presence in more than 200 countries worldwide with headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
“We are honoured by the conquest. Heinz is a market leader in more than 50 countries and is a synonym of quality and excellence. I’m sure that this partnership will be a great success,” said Africa Co-Presdient, Marcio Santoro.
