Grupos Diarios America (GDA) – the conglomeration of Latin America's eleven most-read dailies – has signed an exclusive representation agreement with Charney/Palacios Publicitas. The deal covers all media platforms, including print and online.
Under the deal, all U.S. campaigns destined for the GDA papers are to be handled by Charney Palacios/Publicitas. In a statement, the companies emphasized that this is a consolidation of a two-decade-long relationship between the GDA and C/P & Co.
According to C/P & Co.'s new business development manager for the GDA Monica Doria-Trujillo, the deal is mutually exclusive in that Charney/Palacios Publicitas will no longer represent rival publications that are not members of the GDA, such As Clarin of Argentina and Colombia's El Espectador.
