.FOX Networks and FOX Sports have announced an agreement through which .Fox Networks, as of this month, will be the sole representative of FOX Sports online ad sales in Latin America. Fox Sports website is one of the sports sites with the most traffic in the region.
"Our TV sales force, FOX One Stop Media, is already selling pan-regional ad inventory within Fox Sports programming and we are convinced this agreement will provide opportunities for the network's advertisers”, said Hector Costa, SVP Managing Director of .Fox Networks LATAM & US Hispanics, and SVP Advertising Sales of Fox One Stop Media.
Fox Sports provides quality content to sport fans, including Copa Santander Libertadores, Copa Nissan Sudamericana, RECOPA, soccer tournaments of Argentina, England and Mexico, FIFA Club World Cup, Formula 1, Dakar Rally and ATP Tour Tennis among others. Their site, www.foxsportsla.msn.com, features sports information and a large video library.
According to ComScore figures for last March, .FOX Networks and its affiliates exceeded 72 million unique users in the region, which represents 88 percent of the Internet's audience in this market. Since its launching in August 2007, the growth in unique users in Latin America has been 53.9 percent.
