Fashion and social shopping platform Polyvore Inc. on Monday named Sukhinder Singh Cassidy chief executive.
Mountain View-based Polyvore said Singh Cassidy was formerly CEO-in-residence at Accel Partners, which has an office in Palo Alto.
Previous CEO Pasha Sadri, who helped start Polyvore with Jianing Hu and Guangwei Yuan, will keep working for the company on its board of directors.
From 2003 to 2009 she worked at Mountain View-based Google Inc. in roles that included president of Asia-Pacific and Latin American operations.
Polyvore is backed by venture capital firms Benchmark Capital, which has an office in Menlo Park, and Matrix Partners, which has an office in Palo Alto.
The company said its staff consists of technology industry veterans from Google and Sunnyvale-based Yahoo Inc
