Colombian publishing house Editora Cinco launched the Chilean edition of Seventeen on October 28th. Seventeen, a Hearst franchise, is a monthly targeting the middle to high income population and contains 100% local content. Additionally, on November 13th Editora Cinco will launch En Forma, a monthly health and fitness book for women. Editora Cinco is partnering with Venezuelan media group Armas, which publishes more than 70 titles in Latin America. Its distribution subsidiary Alfa will distribute Editora Cinco's magazines at 7,000 points of sale throughout Chile. Within the next year Editora Cinco plans to launch 23 additional niche titles in Chile. These niche categories will include automotive (e.g. Car and Driver), decoration, home decoration, beauty and craftwork.
