Disney Media Networks Latin America (DMNLA) has announced that it will begin distributing all of its content to the U.S. Hispanic market. This will include content born from its newly forged partnership with Discovery Latin America.

While the core-content will be TV-based, DMNLA is pursuing a multiplatform distribution strategy that will rest heavily on digital.

Also noteworthy, Disney has renewed its partnership with Terra TV for Terra to offer free access to viewers of pay-TV shows for one week after their first showing, and later on-demand after they’ve aired on free-TV.

This agreement covers the highly popular shows Grey's Anatomy (season 5), Scrubs (season 8), Lost (seasons 5 and 6) and Desperate Housewives (season 5).

The deal also allows Terra TV to introduce new content on mobile phones and social networks in the region in 2009.
