DirecTV Chile launched a new advertising campaign for its Platinum service last Wednesday under the slogan “La experiencia que lo cambia todo” (The experience that changes everything).

The advertising campaign will run on various media in Chile, including free and pay TV, print and digital media, and outdoor advertising.

The TV spot was created by Leo Burnett Colombia and will be broadcast on Channel 13, TVN, CHV, FOX, TNT, Sony, Warner and AXN, among others.

The Platinum service includes interactive applications, remote control functions via iPad, and embedded Nexus technology featuring a network of interconnected decoders that allows the user to perform functions such as pausing programming recorded in one room to continue watching it in another, among others.

Our initial idea was to show people how amazing this technology is, as well as how easy it is to use our Platinum service. It is so simple that even can a child can use it. With this product, DIRECTV is changing the way people watch television, transforming it into a real experience,” says Pamela Gidi, Director of Marketing, Programming and Retail.

“Platinum is our most important release of the year, so we decided to launch a campaign with a strong presence among the segments we want to win over with this new service,” Gidi added.
