Alfredo Durán has left his position as senior vice president, branded services and general manager of The Warner Channel Latin America. A 30-year veteran of the Spanish-language television industry, Durán worked at E! Entertainment Television Latin America and MGM Networks Latin America

MTV Networks has appointed Bruno Galván as new Marketing Manager for Mexico. Galván will report to Eduardo Lebrija, Sr VP and General Manager MTV Mexico. He will be responsible for the marketing strategies and promotions in different platforms (TV, print, outdoor, etc.) for the channels MTV, MTV Hits, Vh1, Nickelodeon and Nick Jr.

McCann Erickson New York announced that Matt Freeman has been named vice chairman-global chief innovation officer, a newly created position. Freeman was previously CEO at Mediabrands Ventures, a sibling Interpublic Group of Cos. agency. In his new role, Freeman will be responsible for expanding the agency's digital offerings and developing new revenue streams.

Antonio Chan is the new Advertising Manager at Fox Latin American Channels Brazil. He will be in charge of the advertising net and partnerships; also he will handle the relationship with publishers.

Brandia Central, the Portuguese agency, has announced its expansion into the Brazilian market. Luis Gottera will be the CEO in the country. Brandia Central manages accounts lik Banif, Nestlé, Nokia, Kia Motors, UEFA and Vodafone.

Ingram Micro Inc, technology distributor, has announced that John Soumbasakis, an 8-year veteran of the company, has been named senior vice president and president, Ingram Micro Latin America.

CODERE, the international gaming company with presence in Spain and Latin America, has appointed Beatrice Rangel as President Mexico. Rangel has been working in the entertainment market for the past 10 years.
