Socialmetrix has opened a new office in Mexico and Oscar Ruiz will be in charge of the operations at the country as Country Manager.
Sergio Romo has been named President at Leo Burnett Mexico. Romo is replacing Julio Castellanos who left the company in May last year. Romo has previously worked at Saatchi & Saatchi as General Director.

Karina San Juan is the new Manager for Mexico and the US Hispanic market of Intuic, with the objective of supporting the growth of digital business in those territories.

RTL Group CEO Gerhard Zeiler has been named president of Turner Broadcasting System International, which operates international and regional-specific versions of TBS networks.
Zeiler has served since 2003 as CEO of RTL, which is a division of Bertelsmann AG and Europe’s largest television production and broadcast company.

Radius, a provider of global travel management solutions, announced the appointment of Fernando Marcomini to lead the company’s growing corporate sales and client relations effort in Latin America. Marcomini joins Radius as Manager, Sales and Client Relations, Latin America and will be based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. 

Yahoo's chairman Roy Bostock and three other board members, Vyomesh Joshi, Gary Wilson and Arthur Kern , have announced they will depart the company. The move comes just weeks after Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang stepped down from the company's board of directors. 

Yahoo also announced that board elected two independent directors from the tech world to replace some of the outgoing members. The new members are Alfred Amoroso, president and CEO of the digital entertainment company Rovi, and Maynard Webb, Jr., the chairman of software maker LiveOps.
