Gonzalo Alonso has been appointed General Manager of AudioEngage, a new platform just introduced by Entravision Corp. to strengthen its offering of digital audio in the U.S. Hispanic market as well as Latin America. Previously in his career, Alonso worked at Cisneros Interactive companies smartycontent and Audio.Ad. The new digital audio platform AudioEngage will provide brands, media agencies and content producers access to the main music, radio and podcast distributors.
Computer maker Lenovo has appointed Nair Trejo as the new LatAm consumer marketing manager. The executive, who was marketing manager for Peru, will continue to have responsibility in that market and will have responsibility on others: Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Uruguay, Paraguay and Ecuador.
Manuel Cano has been appointed partner and general manager of Montalvo Media. Cano joins Montalvo’s the management team, which is headed by Pepe Montalvo and integrated by Agustín Vélez (creative VP), Sergio Díaz Infante (DGC), Romina Levi (VP of customer services), Gina Noriega (VP of finance), Sakbe Borja (digital director), and Silke German (VP of strategic planning).
MullenLowe Brazil is restructuring its’ media department: the agency will have new leadership: Daniela Moura and Erika Cabral.Daniela, Head of Media, will be responsible for all the agency accounts, with the exception of Unilever, which will be handled by Erika Cabral.
Dentsu Aegis Network Brazil has announced changes in its leadership:
Rui Branquinho will assume the position of CCO of the Dentsu Aegis Network Group in Brazil.
