Joaquin Molla and Jose Molla, co-founders of La Comunidad announced new appointments for its headquarters in Miami. Eduardo De La Herran joins as interactive creative director whose specialty is interactive content and mobile technology, from Madrid’s Sra. Rushmore agency. Next, La Comunidad hired interactive art director Jaume Leis from Tiempo BBDO Barcelona, and interactive copywriter Munia Bilbao also from Sra Rushmore in Madrid.
IPG Mediabrands, the media innovation unit of Interpublic Group announced executive changes. Richard Beaven has decided to step down from his role as Worldwide CEO. Jim Hytner will succeed Richard as Worldwide CEO – effective from March 19th. Hytner’s role at UM will be filled – effective immediately – by Guy Beach. Also Tim Spengler steps up into the position of Global CEO at MAGNAGLOBAL.
Edgardo Frias has been named CEO of MediaCom Mexico. Edgardo, who was previously Senior Group Director of Starcom Mexico, will join MediaCom on March 12, 2012.
