Shine America the producer and distributor television and digital content has launched a new Spanish language division, with new offices in Colombia and Miami (US). Veteran Colombian TV producer and executive Cristina Palacio has been named President, Shine Hispanic & Latin America. Palacio, who reports to Ross, will oversee new Shine America offices in both Miami, Fla., and Bogotá, Colombia, with programming distributed through Shine International.

 

Discovery Networks Latin America/U.S. Hispanic (DLA/USH) has promoted Carla Conde to Corporate Communications VP for DLA/USH. Conde will be based at Miami and she will report to Enrique Martínez, President and General Director of DLA/USH.

 

 

 

MediaCom Colombia has bought the local agency Massive. Paulina Parra will be in charge of the operations in Colombia and the Andean Region. Also, MediaCom has named Ximena Villamil as Client Service Director, Marlene Acosta as Business Director, Diana Wiest as Digital Service Director and Milena Moncalenato as Research & Insights Director.

 

 

Andy Ocasio recently left his position as  Director of Business Development for Latam and USH at Turn, a  DSP (Demand Side Online Advertising Services Provider) targeting the Latam and USH Hispanic space.
