McCann network Colombian subsidiary has announced the appointment of Alejandro Bermudez and Juan Carlos Palma as DGCs for Bogota’s office. They will both report to Samuel Estrada, CCO and CEO of the agency.
For eight years, Bermudez worked at Sancho BBDO and, in 2014, he joined McCann as creative director.
Previously, Palma worked for Lowe / SSP3, DDB and Rep / Grey.
WebAr CEO Gustavo Buchbinder is leaving the agency after having worked for 18 years. Although Andrea Fontana –currently account director- will take over, the executive will remain a partner of the shop. He will become CEO of a hub comprising WebAr Interactive.
From January 1, Andrea Fontana, who had been serving as Account Director since 2007, will take over as new CEO of WebAr Interactive. Fontana has a degree in Communication from the UBA. In 1999, she joined WebAr Interactive as Content Director and then served in various areas of the agency.
Valdir Bianchi is the agency Africa’s new creative director. After 10 months of having joined McGarryBowen as creative head, Valdir Bianchi joins Africa as creative director. He will report to co-chairman and CCO Sergio Gordilho. Bianchi has worked for agencies such as DPZ, AlmapBBDO, GiovanniFCB and Mood.
