Hoy, the  daily Spanish-language publication in Chicago, is launching a new editorial design today that presents news and information in a more engaging, useful and practical way. The redesign offers an enhanced reading flow while incorporating unique stories, more color and superior graphics.

Hoy will continue to offer readers the most complete local, national and international news and information as well as a revamped entertainment section, ViveloHoy which highlights unique local entertainment as well as stories that can be followed on ViveloHoy.com.

Hoy’s new design reflects the energy and vibrancy of the Hispanic community in Chicago,” said John Trainor, general manager of Hoy Chicago. “Our readers and advertisers deserve the best possible products and we will continue to ensure they are engaged and we exceed their expectations as the leader in the industry.”

The new Hoy redesign will also be reflected on its weekend edition Hoy Fin de Semana as well as in Hoy Los Angeles.

In – store strategy

As part of the commitment to bring better solutions to its advertisers and more valuable information to its audience, Hoy will also be launching a new digital strategy which includes in-store, mobile and online tools. Our in-store strategy, HoyCast, will offer its advertisers the opportunity to reach Hispanics right at the time final purchase decisions are made. Our mobile and online solutions will offer the best in class integrated advertising solutions which complement our print products and offer enhanced touch points to our advertisers and readers alike.
