Swiss Colony, the multi-title mailer company, recently purchased Ashro Lifestyles, a
Chicago-based fashion and accessories cataloger that is geared toward African American women.

The company explained the move by saying that in order to continue robust growth, it needs to move into markets that it is not currently operating in.

In addition, the company has demonstrated an interest in developing a catalog aimed at Hispanics. CEO John Baumann recently said that the company is in the planning stages of such a launch, and that it is a move that they are considering very seriously.

Like Ashro, the catalog would most likely be targeted at females, as Hispanic women account for 74% of Hispanic catalog customers.
