Texas publishing company Rumbo, which was purchased by ImpreMedia in 2007, has announced that it is pursuing a new distribution strategy in the Lone Star State.

Citing the current economic climate, the company has decided to discontinue the print editions in San Antonio and the Rio Grande Valley. Local content for those areas will continue to be distributed for those regions online.

Focusing its resources in the Houston market, the company plans to double circulation there, according to vice president of sales at Impremedia, Erich Linker.
