Following the Tribune company’s filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last week, questions have naturally arisen about the state of Hoy Chicago.

But the word out of the newspaper’s executive offices is “business as usual.” Hoy’s Marketing Director Alejandro Solorio told Portada, “There is no change in operations, reduction in circ., etc,” adding that the paper is continuing to focus on serving its readers and advertisers and continuing its operations uninterrupted

Hoy recently launched a Web portal Vivelo Hoy, featuring high definition video news, whose advertisers include Verizon and State Farm.
