Nueva Magazine, a magazine targeting Hispanic woman in English, is delaying its launch. “We don’t have a launch date yet. The reason for pushing back the launch is due to the fact that we are not 100% happy with the final editorial content, which is not achieving the company’s quality standards,” Alexandra Zanic, Marketing Manager of Maya Magazines.

Maya Magazines, owned by Mexico’s Notmusa, is expanding other Hispanic print media properties. The Miami based publishing house publishes H para Hombres, which is distributed in the U.S. Hispanic market and its editorial content is from Mexico. expanding its U.S. Hispanic print media properties. “In 2008 we will expand H’s equity by launching H Extremo, a bimonthly magazine that will take readers beyond of what they see in H.”

Maya Magazine’s most successful property is TVNotasUSA, a weekly Spanish-language entertainment magazine with a circulation of 150,000 and a pass along rate of 6.4. The publication gained the following new advertisers in 2007:
