Idearc Brings Bilingual Flipped Directories to Tampa

Idearc Media, the official publisher of Verizon Print directories, will be distributing more than 900,000 Tampa Verizon Yellow Page directories in the Greater Tampa area, including bilingual flipped directories for heavily Hispanic areas.

The directories will be standard format English-language Yellow Pages on one side, and the other side will be Spanish-language, featuring all of the same content as the English-language version, just translated.

In all, the bilingual directories will number approximately 168,000 copies, covering 10 different zip codes, says Andrew Shane, spokesperson for Idearc Media. Idearc is a recent spin-off of Verizon Communications.
