The Hispanic Yellow Pages of America, has acquired the Milwaukee, WI-based Hispanic Yellow Pages and Resource Guide under undisclosed terms.

Paginas Amarillas de Wisconsin will serve the 200 thousand-strong Hispanic community, which is expanding more rapidly than any other ethnic group in Wisconsin.

Luis Rodriguez, Publisher of HYP-Wi, will remain at his post for Paginas Amarillas de Wisconsin, and says that he is excited to have the resources of HYPA backing the new venture. He also acknowledged that the partnering was crucial to meeting the needs of its growing readership.

For their part HYPA, which currently reaches over a half-million Hispanic households across Illinois, Nevada, Colorado and Arizona, notes that the acquisition will help establish themselves throughout the Midwest and Southwest U.S. corridor.

Eddie Escobedo, Publisher of the Las Vegas edition said Monday that “The acquisition signals forward movement and growth in our company.”
