Al Dia Dallas Fort Worth cut 5 positions last week. One in the Marketing Department (Marketing Director Isaac Lasky is no longer at Al Dia) and  four in the editorial deparment. Alejandro Sanchez, publisher of Al Dia, tells Portada that expansion plans continue to unfold and  that the daily Hispanic newspapers' circulation remains the same.

Earlier this year, Al Dia implemented a circulation increase of 80,000 in an effort to make the newspaper more attractive to retail preprint (FSI ) Advertisers.

 
Al Dia employee reductions are part of a larger cost cutting plan at parent company A.H. Belo.
