Uniroyal Tire is launching a Hispanic outreach effort to educate Latinos on how to cut automotive expenses through vehicle maintenance practices. The campaign began in April and will finish in December; it was devised by Trone.
The “Manejando el ahorro a casa” or “Driving Savings Home” campaign focuses on how to optimize gas purchasing and driving practices in order to save approximately $800 a year.
Uniroyal is publicizing the campaign through print, television and radio, as well as on its Spanish-language website. Uniroyal has been involved with other Hispanic outreach efforts in the past, with soccer and other grassroots programs.
The print campaign has appeared in various publications including Rumbo San Antonio, La Opinion, Diario la Estrella, La Raza, and many others.
