Hispanic advertising will play an important role Kohls' Southwest Expansion, sources at Kohl's Advertising department recently told Portada.

For fiscal 2006, ending in April 15 2007, the company plans to open 15 stores in the Southwest region, 17 stores each in the Midwest and Southeast regions, and 11 stores in the South-central region, 10 stores in the Northwest region. The retailer expects to increase store count by 500 new stores to more than 1,200 by the end of fiscal 2011.

In the first 10 months of 2006, Kohl's inserted 14 FSI's in Hispanic newspapers according to Portada Ad-tracking. Torrance, CA Casanova Pendrill is Kohl's Hispanic Advertising Agency.
