Telecom was the first category in national advertising captured by Pennsylvania newspapers in 2006  including Al Dia, El Hispano, La Actualidad, Unidad Latina.

Philadelphia’s Hispanic community is overwhelmingly Puerto Rican, numbering just under 100,000 during the last census. The next largest Hispanic group is Mexican, about 7,000 of who were counted during the same period. The remainder of Philadelphia’s Hispanics is a mix of Dominicans, Cubans and Colombians.
