Marketvision will develop and launch the nonprofit organization’s first marketing campaign. The campaign will be designed to increase awareness for organ donation.
The Texas Organ Sharing Alliance provides education, organ donation and recovery services to families wishing to donate organs. The alliance provides services to more than 100 hospitals and six transplant centers in 56 counties. The organization is based in San Antonio but has regional offices in Austin and McAllen.
Marketvision will develop a fully integrated, bilingual campaign to raise awareness of the importance of joining the organ donation registry, particularly in Central and South Texas. According to the Texas Organ Sharing Alliance, transplant success rates increase when organs are matched between members of the same ethnicities. Because of the sizable Hispanic population in Texas, Hispanics represent the highest need for organ donation. Over half of the 10,000 Texans on the transplant waiting list are Hispanic.
The campaign is set to launch in October and will include market research, creative development, digital marketing, branding, advertising, social media and public relations.
