London Broadcasting of Beaumont/Port Arthur announced they are signing on a new Hispanic television station on August 3rd. This will be the only local Hispanic television station in Southeast Texas.

The Network affiliation will be Azteca América. It has a library of over 200,000 hours of original programming and news from local bureaus in 32 Mexican states. The network complements Mexican programming with a line-up of shows from international producers and distributors.

Dan Robbins, Vice President and General Manager of the new station, stated "We are very excited to bring Southeast Texas the quality programming of Azteca America. This television station will be a great addition to our three other stations which include KBMT-ABC, K-JAC-NBC and MYTX".

London Broadcasting also owns KCEN-NBC, MYTX, and Azteca in Waco-Temple, Texas and KYTX-CBS, KCEB-CW, MYTX and Azteca in Tyler-Longview, Texas.

London Broadcasting also has a purchase agreement pending with the FCC to purchase KIII-ABC in Corpus Christi, Texas.
