ESPN Deportes announced today the latest addition to SportsCenter, the station's flagship sports news program. Known for her sports communications experience and charisma, Carolina Padrón will make her debut on the program the week of December 20.

"Carolina will connect with viewers with her fresh and entertaining style of delivering the news, highlights and plays," said Rodolfo Martínez, Vice President of Production for ESPN International and ESPN Deportes.

Padrón began her career in her native Venezuela working for Meridiano Televisión, one of the top sports channels in the country. Padrón, originally from Maracaibo, Venezuela, currently lives in Mexico City. She holds a degree in Social Communication from the University of Santa María, Barcelona-Venezuela as well as a Masters Degree in World Journalism from CEU University in Spain.
