Spanish Broadcasting System Inc. (SBS) announced the promotion of radio industry veteran Albert Rodriguez as General Manager of Mega TV in Miami.
Telemundo announced that Michelle Alban has been promoted to the post of Vice President, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs, Telemundo,from her previous role of Director, Corporate Communications, Telemundo. She will continue to report to Alfredo Richard, Senior Vice President, Communications and Talent Development.
Microsoft has created the position of chief marketing officer, which is being filled by Gayle Troberman. She had previously been in charge of creating Microsoft’s ad concepts, as the general manager of the company’s advertising and customer engagement team; before that, she had handled branded entertainment for MSN.
Razorfish VP of Media Sarah Baehr has left the Publicis-owned digital agency. A five-year employee, Baehr was most recently the U.S. national lead for all the interactive agency's media planning and buying activities. She handled strategic media direction for CapitalOne, Victoria's Secret, Starwood, and Schering-Plough, among other clients.
Susan Taylor has been named to the new role of EVP, Managing Director of Carat’s West Coast offices (Los Angeles and San Francisco). In addition to local responsibilities,Taylor, previously served as EVP Managing Partner for PHD on the West Coast. At PhD, she was responsible for several new business wins almost doubling the office billings during her tenure.
Roman Escobar returns to the NBC family as executive vice president of Telemundo Network. He had previously been vice president of live news programming for MSNBC before moving to Sucherman Consulting Group as VP.
